On Thursday, leading shipbuilding companies from South Korea unveiled a series of partnerships with the US, covering the construction of naval vessels, liquefied natural gas refueling ships, smart shipyards, and workforce training. This event coincided with the opening of an operational center for a $150 billion shipbuilding alliance between Washington and Seoul.
The Korea-US Shipbuilding Partnership Center was opened in Washington on Thursday and will serve as the headquarters for the initiative "Make American Shipbuilding Great Again."
