The Norwegian company DOF, engaged in the operation of offshore vessels, has received an extension of the contract for one of its multipurpose supply vessels.
The company reported that the current client MPSV Skandi Darwin has exercised the option to extend the contract for one year for this vessel.
The extension will allow the vessel to continue working for its current client in Australia until the third quarter of 2027.
Details about the client and financial terms were not disclosed. However, the vessel was previously chartered by Shell to provide IMR services at its Prelude FLNG facility.
The contract with Shell was signed for five years at a fixed rate, with the company also having two options for extension of two years each. The agreement came into effect at the end of November 2017.
