Varamar takes a step towards ship ownership by acquiring four vessels

Antwerp-based multifunctional and cargo company Varamar has entered the ship ownership sector for the first time by acquiring four multifunctional vessels. Founded in 2009 by Alexander Varvarenko, the company previously focused on chartering and operating third-party tonnage in areas such as breakbulk, dry cargo, project cargo, and heavy lift transport.

This move marks a strategic shift in Varamar's business model, which could open new opportunities for the company in the ship ownership market.
