From September 10 to 12, 2025, the International Conference "Fish Processing-2025" took place in Svetlogorsk, becoming a key industry platform for discussing the future of the fish processing industry.
Over three intensive days, leading experts, producers, and industry specialists discussed the most pressing issues and trends. The focus was on the implementation of new technologies, strict quality control standards, changing consumer demands, and regulatory requirements.
The business program of the conference included presentations and discussions on topics such as technical regulation, quality control, and shelf life of fish products, as well as innovations in production and packaging. Special attention was given to comprehensive and waste-free processing of aquatic bioresources and the improvement of technological processes using modern methods and functional additives.
Participants actively exchanged experiences, asked questions, shared practical cases, and formed business connections during informal meetings and networking sessions. The program included excursions to fish processing enterprises and a visit to the Kaliningrad State Technical University.
The issue of staff shortages in the industry and modern approaches to professional education for fish industry specialists were also discussed.
