Container shipping rates are rising rapidly like never before due to the early onset of the peak season, disruptions in the Red Sea, increased demand for pre-loaded cargo, and aggressive pricing strategies by carriers.

The Shanghai Containerized Freight Index (SCFI) has risen by 155 points today, reaching 2726.48, which is its highest level in recent years. This marks the fifth consecutive increase.
