Workers in the North Sea Prepare for Strike at Ithaca Energy Facilities

The largest trade union for offshore workers in the UK, Unite, has announced the intention of its members working at Ithaca Energy's facilities in the North Sea to strike in June over pay issues.

The union stated that the company Bilfinger refused to extend the retention bonus for about 20 workers on the Alba FSU and its floating production facility (FPF1).

Industrial action will begin in the coming weeks if the parties cannot reach an agreement.
