History Gazprom Neft Shipping LLC was founded in December 2008 to operate the bunker fleet of Gazprom Neft Marine Bunker. The company is 100% owned by the Gazprom Neft Group: - 99% of Gazprom Neft Marine Bunker LLC - 1% Gazprom Neft Finance LLC Gazprom Neft Shipping LLC provides petroleum product transportation and bunkering services. Its business is carried out on the basis of licenses: - license for the carriage of dangerous goods - license for loading and unloading of dangerous goods) The main client of Gazprom Neft Shipping LLC is its shareholder Gazprom Neft Marine Bunker LLC, and its affiliate Gazprom Neft Terminal SPb LLC. The client base also includes third-party counterparties represented by bunker and fishing companies and exporters of petroleum products. Gazprom Neft Shipping LLC started its operations in December 2008 (until the company obtained the necessary licenses in April 2009 for bunkering and shipping services) by recruiting personnel, including ship crews, analyzing the vessels' available of the industrial and technological equipment in terms of its technical condition, from preparation for scheduled dock repairs for certification by sea or river registers, to obtaining all necessary licenses and permits. At the time the main licenses were obtained, Gazprom Neft Shipping, LLC was put in charge of two steamships. Currently Gazprom Neft Shipping LLC operates 9 bunkering vessels which perform bunkering services in the ports of Saint Petersburg, Novorossiysk, Vladivostok and Murmansk. The company also has experience working outside territorial waters. To ensure safety at sea, prevent accidents and protect human life and the environment, Gazprom Neft Shipping LLC has introduced and certified a Safety and Quality Management System compliant with the ICUB Code and ISO 9001:2008 standards.
