Ukraine is one step closer to the "white list" of the Paris Memorandum

Ukraine is entrenched on the "gray list" of the Paris Memorandum, which means that it can move to the "white list" in the coming years. 

The Committee approved the new lists at its 55th meeting and they will be valid from July 1 of this year. The Ukrainian flag has moved up to 61st place in the overall ranking of flag states by 2020 inspections.

The latest list includes 68 state flags, of which:

• "white list" - 40;
• "gray list" - 21;
• "black list" - 7.
