New chairman of the board at the International Chamber of Shipping

Emanuele Grimaldi, managing director of the Grimaldi Group, has been appointed head of the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS).
Grimaldi will replace the current head, executive director of Enesel PTE LTD. Esben Poulsson, who has been head of ICS since 2016 and is retiring after three terms, the ICS press office wrote.
The former president of Confitarma and the European Shipowners' Association (ECSA) Emanuele Grimaldi was officially elected as head of the ICS board after the announcement of his nomination last year.
It is noted that together with ICS Secretary General Guy Platten, Grimaldi will be involved in the tasks of decarbonization, digitalization and life and crew changes.
